Electronic voting machines can be rigged by the companies which make them.

Suppose on the night of November 2, 2004, electronic voting machines say George W. Bush won the election, and exit polls say John Kerry won the election. Unless "The Voter Confidence Act" to require electronic voting machines to print paper ballots has become law, there will be no way to do a meaningful recount. George W. Bush will get 4 more years.

Please ask your Congressperson to cosponsor The Voter Confidence Act, bill number HR.2239, to protect the accuracy of the 2004 election.
