1) VerifiedVoting.org - Will your vote count? Punchcard voting machines are being replaced by electronic voting machines, ending some problems but creating new ones. Because the programmers of the machines may purposely or accidentally write code which miscounts votes, we need to be able to do a meaningful recount. VerifiedVoting.org says electronic machines should print paper ballots each voter can check. There are already machines of this type which print the ballots behind glass, such as the Vote-Trakker from Avante International Technology. To promote accurate elections, VerifiedVoting.org wants citizens to ask Congress to support the Voter Confidence Act (HR 2339, S 1980).

7) VegSource - Vegetarianism is one of the best ways to help the environment. It takes a fraction of the oil and water for people to raise soybeans and eat them than for people to feed those soybeans to pigs and eat the pigs. Ask for recipes and discuss issues on the VegSource message-boards.
